We are a 5 piece covers band (2 guitarists, a bassist, drummer and singer) from the Tayside/Fife area that has been on the go since 1998. We are always on the lookout for gigs in new venues. We have a full 5.5 kilowatt P.A. system with monitoring, Bass cab's, lighting, smoke generators and disco equipment (only for our break you understand).
There are no gimmicks, backing tracks or crap, just proper 100% live music!
The back-bone of our band is rock and punk music however, we also get the acoustics out and play some mellow music in our set. TunaCave headlined the bands at the ceres highland games in 2004 and 2005, headlined the Ladybank Festival in 2005 and ROCKED OUT for the Blair Atholl International horse trials and Country fair's after show party in 2006 and 2007. We were also the only band asked to do a second "off the cuff" set at a Party in The Park festival in Lincolnshire in 2006, playing on the same bill as Natasha Hamilton (ex-Atomic Kitten) and The Almaboobies (a fantastic Australian all-girl rock band). We also played the same festival in 2007 to rapturous applause.
We like to play the pub/club circuit and don't mind travelling (We have played gigs as far south as Birmingham). We really liked doing the Party in The Park gig in 2006 and 2007 and really would like to play more festivals (hint hint).
Becoming well known for our "alternative" version of "House of the rising sun".........say no more!
